Tenable Holdings has announced that it has been identified by Gartner as the “company to beat” for AI-powered exposure assessment in the analyst firm’s June 2026 report, AI Vendor Race: Tenable Is the Company to Beat for AI-Powered Exposure Assessment.
According to the Gartner report, Tenable’s longstanding leadership in vulnerability assessment, combined with its extensive asset discovery, attack surface management capabilities, and execution of its AI strategy, has positioned the company at the forefront of AI-powered exposure management. Gartner also highlighted Tenable One, the company’s AI-powered exposure management platform, for its ability to provide comprehensive visibility across traditional IT environments, cloud infrastructure, identities, containers, cyber-physical systems, and emerging AI-related attack surfaces.
The report noted that Tenable’s platform enables organizations to identify and prioritize risks associated with AI adoption, including shadow AI deployments, sensitive data exposure, AI misconfigurations, risky agent behavior, unsafe integrations, and emerging AI-specific attack vectors.

The recognition comes amid increasing enterprise demand for solutions that can manage growing cybersecurity complexity as organizations adopt artificial intelligence at scale. Tenable has significantly expanded its AI-focused cybersecurity portfolio in recent months, including the launch of Tenable Hexa AI, an agentic AI engine integrated into the Tenable One Exposure Management Platform.
