Epicor Launches AI-Driven Ascend Program with 90-Day Cloud ERP Go-Live Capability

Epicor

Epicor, a global leader in industry-specific enterprise software, has announced a major expansion of its Ascend with Epicor program, introducing AI-powered capabilities designed to accelerate cloud ERP implementation timelines. The enhanced offering enables qualified organizations to achieve ERP go-live in as little as 90 days, significantly reducing deployment complexity and time-to-value.

The expanded Ascend program combines a proven implementation methodology with advanced AI tools, business planning support, and expert consulting services. By automating traditionally time-intensive tasks such as system audits, data extraction, and migration planning, Epicor is helping organizations transition to modern cloud ERP systems more efficiently and with minimal disruption to daily operations.

Originally introduced to support existing customers migrating to the cloud, the Ascend program now caters to a broader range of business scenarios. This includes new customers replacing legacy ERP platforms, existing Epicor users moving from on-premises systems to cloud environments, and organizations integrating newly acquired business units or operations. Across all use cases, the program focuses on reducing friction and enabling faster adoption of ERP capabilities.

“Innovation only creates value when customers can put it to work quickly inside their ERP systems… we’re reducing complexity, accelerating adoption, and enabling qualified ERP deployments in as little as 90 days, without compromising the security and rigor ERP demands,” said Vaibhav Vohra, President and Chief Product and Technology Officer at Epicor.

A key differentiator of Ascend is its AI-driven pre-implementation approach. The platform analyzes a customer’s existing environment, organizes critical data, and generates optimized migration plans before deployment begins. This not only eliminates manual discovery work but also identifies potential risks early in the process, helping teams maintain predictable timelines and avoid costly delays.

Unlike traditional ERP implementations that focus solely on data transfer, Ascend emphasizes structured data extraction and optimization. This ensures that information is aligned with the new system from day one, allowing organizations to quickly move from preparation to productivity.

The program is particularly valuable in time-sensitive scenarios such as mergers and acquisitions, where rapid system integration is critical. Early results show implementation timelines reduced by up to 40%, with some deployments achieved even faster depending on complexity.

With this expansion, Epicor strengthens its Cognitive ERP vision, embedding AI, automation, and intelligent decision-making into enterprise workflows helping organizations modernize faster and unlock business value with greater speed and efficiency.
