Partnership expands AVEVA’s cloud and AI capabilities, helping industrial enterprises modernize operations and unlock greater value from operational data

AVEVA and Amazon Web Services (AWS) have announced a multi-year Strategic Collaboration Agreement (SCA) aimed at accelerating industrial intelligence in the cloud and helping organizations modernize operations through AI-powered insights, advanced analytics, and scalable cloud infrastructure.

The agreement strengthens the long-standing relationship between the two companies and establishes a framework for joint technology development, customer migration programs, and go-to-market initiatives targeting industrial organizations worldwide.

As part of the collaboration, AVEVA will expand its CONNECT industrial intelligence platform on AWS as a key component of its broader multi-cloud strategy. By leveraging AWS services such as Amazon Bedrock, Amazon Bedrock AgentCore, and Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (Amazon EC2), AVEVA plans to deliver both public and private SaaS capabilities to customers across industries including energy, manufacturing, chemicals, mining, infrastructure, life sciences, marine, and engineering services.

“Industrial companies are sitting on decades of operational data that holds enormous, untapped value. Building CONNECT on AWS gives our customers greater flexibility and scalability, enabling them to turn that data into intelligence that helps them design faster, operate smarter, and optimize continuously.”

The partnership is designed to provide industrial organizations with a faster and more scalable path to cloud adoption while reducing the complexity and cost of managing on-premises infrastructure. It also aims to enable new AI-driven capabilities that support operational efficiency, predictive analytics, and improved decision-making.

“Industrial companies are sitting on decades of operational data that holds enormous, untapped value,” said Rob McGreevy, Chief Product Officer at AVEVA. “This collaboration accelerates how the industrial world can harness cloud and AI while maintaining the flexibility and freedom of choice customers expect.”

Under the agreement, AVEVA will also expand its presence on AWS Marketplace, enabling customers to procure key AVEVA solutions through existing AWS agreements. The companies will jointly support customer migration and modernization initiatives while working with specialized operational technology (OT) system integrators to accelerate cloud adoption.

Another major focus area is the integration of AI and analytics capabilities. By combining AWS machine learning services with AVEVA’s industrial data platform, the companies aim to deliver advanced predictive analytics, digital twin technologies, and agentic AI workflows that improve operational performance and business outcomes.

“AVEVA’s deep domain expertise and mission-critical software make them a natural fit for AWS,” said Uwem Ukpong, Vice President of AWS Industries. “Together, we will help industrial companies accelerate digital transformation, reduce costs, and unlock new insights from their operational data.”

AVEVA’s CONNECT platform currently manages more than eight petabytes of industrial data and serves over 23,000 active monthly users across more than 50 SaaS applications, providing a strong foundation for the next phase of industrial AI and cloud innovation.
