Anas Al Azzeh joins as Director of Customer & Partner Success to drive enterprise adoption

Governata has announced the appointment of Anas Al Azzeh as Director of Customer & Partner Success, reinforcing its leadership as it scales operations to meet growing demand for AI-ready and locally governed data infrastructure in Saudi Arabia.

The appointment comes at a pivotal time when organisations across the Kingdom are re-evaluating their data strategies, with increased focus on data sovereignty, regulatory compliance, and localisation aligned with national frameworks. Governata is strengthening its leadership bench to support large-scale enterprise deployments and deliver measurable business outcomes.

Anas joins from Informatica, where he served as Enterprise Sales Manager and played a key role in expanding the company’s footprint across the GCC. With a strong background in enterprise data solutions and complex implementations, his appointment signals Governata’s intent to accelerate its go-to-market strategy, particularly around its unified data platform.

“Governata is uniquely positioned to help organisations turn data governance into real business outcomes, and I look forward to driving impactful customer success initiatives across the region.”

— Anas Al Azzeh

Governata’s platform integrates multiple data domains including governance, privacy, data quality, pipelines, and generative AI enablement into a single framework. This approach enables organisations to manage and unlock the full value of their data while ensuring compliance with evolving regulatory requirements.

In his new role, Anas will focus on enhancing customer engagement, strengthening partner ecosystems, and driving enterprise adoption. He will also support deployments aligned with Saudi Arabia’s national data priorities, helping organisations translate governance initiatives into tangible outcomes.

Commenting on the company’s growth, Djamel Mohand said the appointment reflects Governata’s continued investment in leadership to scale its impact across the Kingdom.

Launched in 2025, Governata is positioning itself as Saudi Arabia’s first enterprise data governance platform, aligned with frameworks set by the Saudi Data & AI Authority. As the company expands, it continues to invest in talent and innovation to support the next phase of data governance and AI-driven transformation across the Kingdom and the wider MENA region.
