Certification validates Dynatrace SaaS on UAE Microsoft Azure, enabling compliant, AI‑powered observability for government and regulated organizations

Dynatrace has announced that its AI‑powered observability platform has earned certification from the Dubai Electronic Security Center (DESC), marking a significant milestone in enabling secure cloud adoption for government and regulated institutions in the UAE. The certification confirms that the Dynatrace SaaS platform deployed on UAE Microsoft Azure meets the stringent cybersecurity, cloud governance and operational compliance standards mandated by DESC.

Established by the Government of Dubai, DESC develops and enforces cybersecurity requirements that safeguard critical digital infrastructure and support the city’s transition toward advanced smart‑city services. With certification now in place, public sector entities can adopt Dynatrace’s platform knowing all security‑related data — including telemetry, logs, agent insights and incident information — remains fully within UAE borders, aligned with national data residency expectations.

“This certification affirms Dynatrace’s role as a key enabler of Dubai’s digital ambitions as the city moves toward a digital‑first future.” — David Noël, Vice President, Middle East & Africa, Dynatrace

David Noël, Vice President for the Middle East and Africa at Dynatrace, said the accreditation comes at a pivotal moment in Dubai’s transformation journey. “Dubai is rapidly scaling its digital infrastructure and investing in AI to reimagine how public services are delivered,” he said. “This certification affirms Dynatrace’s role as a key enabler of Dubai’s digital ambitions, helping public sector teams simplify complexity, drive smarter operations and deliver seamless services while meeting regulatory expectations.”

By running locally on Microsoft Azure’s Dammam region, Dynatrace reduces latency and enables real‑time, machine‑speed threat detection, anomaly identification and automated remediation. This ensures government IT teams gain unified visibility across applications, infrastructure and user experience, while maintaining complete operational sovereignty.

DESC certification covers Dynatrace’s end‑to‑end observability capabilities, AI‑driven root‑cause analysis, automation workflows and ongoing independent assessments for continuous compliance. The platform is already used by leading government and critical‑sector organizations across the region, including aviation, healthcare, telecommunications and financial services.

Dynatrace says the certification reinforces its commitment to supporting the UAE’s digital‑government strategy by providing a secure, compliant and high‑performance foundation for cloud modernization.
