Registration opens for the first Middle East edition of Emerson’s global users conference, set to spotlight next-gen automation, sustainability and autonomous operations
Emerson has officially opened registrations for Emerson Exchange 2026, its flagship global users conference, scheduled for May 19–21, 2026, at the Dubai World Trade Center. Marking its first-ever hosting in the Middle East, the event aims to gather over 2,000 industrial automation professionals from more than 50 countries to co-create the next chapter of innovation.
With the theme “Imagine the Next,” the 2026 edition will encourage delegates to look beyond today’s digital transformation curve and envision the future of autonomous operations, advanced analytics, and sustainable industrial performance. According to Liam Hurley, President, Middle East & Africa at Emerson, the conference will help organizations unlock smarter decisions, accelerate innovation cycles and build operations resilient enough for tomorrow’s challenges.
“This is where the global automation community will imagine what’s next, learn from each other, and shape the future of industrial operations.” — Liam Hurley, President, Middle East & Africa, Emerson
The conference promises a high-value agenda featuring 300+ expert-led sessions across key domains including intelligent automation, safety excellence, production optimization, asset performance, reliability engineering, sustainability, and modernization strategies.
A large 5,000-square-metre technology expo will bring Emerson’s latest innovations to life through interactive demonstrations, showcasing emerging tools that enhance reliability, boost production, and support sustainability goals. Delegates will also gain insights through live user case studies, offering practical examples of how automation leaders are solving complex challenges across diverse sectors.
Complementing the technical streams, a series of executive leadership panels will explore macro trends reshaping industry priorities — from the global energy transition and AI-driven operations to cybersecurity and workforce transformation.
The event will further deliver hands-on training programs with more than 600 dedicated seats, enabling professionals to upskill in areas vital to next-generation industrial environments. Industry-focused forums for oil & gas, chemicals, refining, life sciences, metals & mining and power will give participants deep-dive perspectives into sector-specific innovation.
Hurley emphasized that the Middle East’s rapid embrace of advanced automation and smart manufacturing makes Dubai the ideal host. With regional industries accelerating toward higher safety, sustainability and productivity standards, Emerson Exchange 2026 is expected to serve as a catalyst for collaboration and transformation.
