At its first major event following its landmark IPO, ALEC Holdings reinforced its position as the “Platform for Global Innovation Solutions” during its Innovation Day 2025, showcasing how it has evolved into a powerful ecosystem that nurtures, validates, and scales breakthrough construction technologies across real-world projects.
With the GCC construction market projected to reach US$2.7 trillion by 2033, the industry is under increasing pressure to deliver projects faster, safer, and with greater sustainability. “The region is a fertile ground for innovation, but this cannot thrive in isolation,” said Imad Itani, Head of Innovation at ALEC. “We have built an ecosystem where ideas are tested on real projects, refined through fast feedback, and scaled industry-wide — making ALEC the epicentre of innovation in construction.”
“We are not just innovating for ALEC—we are innovating for the entire construction industry.” – Imad Itani, Head of Innovation, ALEC Holdings
ALEC’s innovation roadmap is powered by a culture that encourages experimentation, with business units actively bringing their own solutions to market. The company is equally committed to engaging subcontractors and supply chain partners, recognizing their growing role in shaping a more resilient and collaborative construction industry.
A major highlight was the participation of 15 external innovation partners, including TENDERD and SOLUT, both of which used ALEC as a launchpad for testing and commercializing their technologies. SOLUT’s workforce analytics platform, which increases labor efficiency by up to 30 percent, was among those recognized.
“The credibility afforded by ALEC’s validation has been transformative for us,” said Aleksander Belousov, Founder of SOLUT. “It significantly accelerated our time to market and unlocked opportunities across industries.”
ALEC also introduced its first Collaboration Awards, recognizing excellence across four categories: Innovative Subcontractor of the Year, Technology Collaboration of the Year, Start-up Engagement of the Year, and Client Collaboration of the Year — celebrating the partners driving collective progress.
Innovation Day 2025 signaled ALEC’s growing influence not just as a construction group, but as a true innovation catalyst — propelling technologies that redefine how the built environment is designed, delivered, and scaled regionally and globally.
