Abu Dhabi Unveils World’s First AI Public Servant at GITEX Global 2025

TAMM AutoGov marks a global milestone in anticipatory, AI-powered government service delivery

Abu Dhabi has taken a bold step toward the future of governance by unveiling the world’s first AI public servant — TAMM AutoGov — at GITEX Global 2025. The new feature within the emirate’s digital platform, TAMM, introduces the world’s first AutoGov function, capable of autonomously managing recurring government and private-sector tasks such as license renewals, bill payments, and healthcare appointments.

Representing a breakthrough in public service automation, TAMM AutoGov operates seamlessly in the background of citizens’ lives — a pioneering step in Abu Dhabi’s journey to becoming the world’s first AI-native government.

“The launch of TAMM AutoGov is truly transformative, redefining what government means in people’s lives,” said His Excellency Ahmed Tamim Hisham Al Kuttab, Chairman, Department of Government Enablement (DGE). “Here, government is no longer reactive. It’s a partner that is intelligent, human-centred, and present at the moments that matter most.”

The innovation builds on the TAMM AI Assistant, which already provides over 1,100 public and private services via a unified platform. Together, they create anticipatory, context-aware digital experiences that evolve with users’ needs.

“We’re moving from one-off transactions to intelligent journeys that adapt to each person,” said His Excellency Dr. Mohamed Al Askar, Director General of TAMM. “This is the true promise of an AI public servant — giving people back time and peace of mind.”

Beyond automation, new TAMM features like AI VisionSmart Guide, and Hologram Pods enhance inclusivity, offering voice-enabled, bilingual, and face-to-face digital experiences. Meanwhile, TAMM Spaces and TAMM by You encourage community collaboration and participatory governance.

With over 90 government and private partners, TAMM now stands as one of the world’s most advanced digital ecosystems. The launch of AutoGov sets a new global benchmark in intelligent governance, showcasing Abu Dhabi’s leadership in seamlessly blending AI, accessibility, and human connection in public service delivery.
