New MarHub platform to unify port operations, enhance analytics, and enable real-time stakeholder collaboration
The Port of Fujairah has signed a strategic agreement with Endava to launch a five-year digital transformation program designed to streamline operations and increase transparency. The multi-phase initiative will introduce advanced digital capabilities across six modules covering vessel call management, dry and liquid bulk logistics, gate pass automation, and real-time analytics.
At the heart of the transformation is the launch of MarHub, a next-generation Port Community System that will serve as a secure, connected gateway for all stakeholders—port authorities, shipping lines, service providers, and government entities. With nearly 120 million metric tons of cargo handled annually, the Port of Fujairah is one of the largest and most critical maritime logistics hubs in the region.
“Efficiency is the cornerstone of our operations – every moment saved translates directly to enhanced service quality and economic gains.”
— Mr. Khalil Ebrahim, Deputy Managing Director, Port of Fujairah
Mr. Khalil Ebrahim, Deputy Managing Director, Port of Fujairah, stated, “With this transformation, we are not only optimising our processes but also reinforcing full transparency, which ensures security, trust and streamlined workflows. This initiative reflects our unwavering commitment to providing our business partners with world-class infrastructure and services.”
David Boast, General Manager – UAE & KSA, Endava, added, “We are honoured to bring this ambitious vision to life. Large-scale digital transformations require careful execution to ensure operational continuity, and our expertise will enable a seamless transition while continuously delivering powerful new features.”
The API-first, cloud-native architecture of MarHub will be hosted in UAE-based Microsoft Azure regions, ensuring data residency, ISO 27001 compliance, and sustainability through automated scaling and efficient infrastructure design. Phase 1 of the deployment is scheduled to go live in Q4 2025.
This collaboration positions the Port of Fujairah as a regional benchmark in digital-led logistics, aligning operational excellence with national innovation and sustainability goals.
