AMD and HUMAIN Forge $10B Strategic Alliance to Build Global AI Infrastructure

AMD and HUMAIN

Multi-year partnership to deliver 500 MW of AI compute capacity powered by AMD technologies and open software ecosystem

In a move poised to reshape the global AI landscape, AMD and Saudi-based AI enterprise HUMAIN have announced a landmark $10 billion collaboration to build one of the world’s most advanced, scalable, and open AI infrastructures. The initiative aims to deploy 500 megawatts of AI compute capacity over the next five years, with initial rollouts already underway across key global regions.

Under the agreement, AMD will provide its full-spectrum AI compute portfolio—including AMD Instinct™ GPUs, EPYC™ CPUs, Pensando™ DPUs, Ryzen™ AI processors, and the AMD ROCm™ open software ecosystem—to power AI workloads across enterprise, startup, and sovereign sectors. HUMAIN will lead the development and delivery of the infrastructure, including hyperscale data centers, sustainable power systems, and global fiber interconnects.

“This is not just another infrastructure play—it’s an open invitation to the world’s innovators.”

— Tareq Amin, CEO, HUMAIN

“Our investment with HUMAIN is a significant milestone in advancing global AI infrastructure,” said Dr. Lisa Su, Chair and CEO of AMD. “Together, we are building a globally significant AI platform that delivers performance, openness and reach at unprecedented levels.”

By early 2026, the AMD-HUMAIN infrastructure is expected to deliver multi-exaflop AI performance, leveraging modular data center designs, next-gen AI silicon, and a developer-friendly software stack grounded in open standards and interoperability.

The partnership aligns with Saudi Arabia’s strategic vision to become a global hub for AI innovation, combining its energy resources, AI-ready workforce, and forward-looking policies with AMD’s cutting-edge compute capabilities. As the race for AI dominance intensifies, the deal offers a compelling new option for global innovators seeking scalable, secure, and accessible AI infrastructure.
