SANS Doha May 2025 to Feature Intensive Cybersecurity Courses and Workforce Masterclass
SANS Institute, the global leader in cybersecurity training and certifications, will return to Doha from May 10 to 15, 2025, with SANS Doha May 2025. Hosted at Marsa Malaz Kempinski, The Pearl – Doha, the event will feature four intensive courses tailored to the region’s evolving security landscape and the urgent need to upskill cyber talent.
Qatar’s cybersecurity posture has significantly improved as the nation’s digital infrastructure expands. The country achieved a leading position in the Global Cybersecurity Index (GCI) 2024, being classified as a model nation in cybersecurity.
“Through real-world labs, expert-led instruction, and practical exercises, our programs sharpen technical capabilities and inspire long-term strategies that strengthen organizational security from within,” added Baltagi.

SANS Doha May 2025 will offer four courses, available in both in-person and live-online formats:
- SEC504: Hacker Tools, Techniques, and Incident Handling: Helps security professionals respond to breaches across various environments.
- ICS410: ICS/SCADA Security Essentials: Addresses the cybersecurity needs of critical infrastructure.
- SEC566: Implementing and Auditing CIS Controls: Teaches professionals how to adopt and manage CIS Controls.
- FOR589: Cybercrime Intelligence: Trains analysts to gather intelligence and disrupt criminal networks.
Additionally, SANS will host a Cyber-Workforce Masterclass on May 14, aimed at Learning & Development and cybersecurity HR teams. The session will focus on building a skills-first development plan using the NICE Workforce Framework and Qatar Cybersecurity Framework, along with a hands-on tabletop exercise simulating a real data breach scenario.
