ServiceNow and NVIDIA Collaborate to Transform Telecom Operations with AI

ServiceNow

ServiceNow has unveiled AI agents tailored for the telecom industry, developed in collaboration with NVIDIA. These AI agents are designed to enhance productivity across the entire service lifecycle, autonomously managing labor-intensive workflows in customer service and network operations.

Built on NVIDIA AI Enterprise software and the NVIDIA DGX Cloud platform, these AI agents bring industry-specific solutions to communications service providers (CSPs). The agents are equipped to handle tasks such as:

  • Service Test and Repair: AI agents analyze network data, diagnose issues, recommend solutions, and coordinate repair actions, ensuring faster and more seamless issue resolution.
  • Network Incident Analysis: Leveraging AI to detect network alerts, identify root causes, and resolve service disruptions quickly, thereby improving customer satisfaction.
  • Billing Resolution: AI agents autonomously identify unusual usage patterns, provide real-time charge explanations, and recommend cost-effective plans, reducing billing complaints and call center volume.

“AI continues to be the key driver of business transformation in telecom, and ServiceNow, working with NVIDIA, is playing a pivotal role in this shift.”

– Rohit Batra, General Manager and Vice President, ServiceNow

This collaboration aims to help telecom companies improve efficiency, optimize costs, and enhance customer satisfaction. The AI agents will be available on March 12 with ServiceNow’s Yokohama release.

Rohit Batra, General Manager and Vice President at ServiceNow, emphasized the significance of this development: “The launch of new AI agents developed specifically for the telecom industry demonstrates our continued commitment to building solutions that help solve the biggest challenges facing business leaders.”

Chris Penrose, Telco Global VP of Business Development at NVIDIA, added, “By creating NVIDIA-powered AI agents to enhance telecom workflows for network operations and customer experience, ServiceNow is helping its customers improve efficiency, optimize costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.”

These innovations build on previous advancements, such as Now Assist for Telecommunications Service Management (TSM), and mark a significant step forward in the use of AI to transform telecom operations.
