Strong customer advocacy underscores Tenable’s leadership in unified cloud exposure management

Tenable Holdings has been named a 2025 Customers’ Choice in the Gartner Peer Insights ‘Voice of the Customer’ for Cloud-Native Application Protection Platforms (CNAPPs), emerging as one of only two vendors to receive the distinction. The recognition is based entirely on verified end-user feedback, highlighting Tenable’s strong customer satisfaction and advocacy in a highly competitive cloud security market.

As of October 2025, Tenable earned an overall rating of 4.8 out of 5, with 88 percent of reviewers indicating they would recommend the platform, based on 71 customer reviews. The Customers’ Choice designation is awarded to vendors whose scores meet or exceed market averages for both Overall Experience and User Interest and Adoption.

Tenable’s recognition reflects the growing demand for a unified approach to cloud-native security. As organizations grapple with increasingly complex cloud, AI, and hybrid environments, customers are moving away from fragmented point solutions toward platforms that provide consolidated visibility and action. Tenable One, the company’s exposure management platform, brings together insight across cloud infrastructure, identities, workloads, and applications, helping security teams prioritize and remediate risk more effectively.

“There is no greater validation than the voice of our customers. This recognition reflects the trust they place in Tenable to help close critical exposure gaps before they become breaches.”

— Eric Doerr, Chief Product Officer, Tenable

Customer feedback cited in the Gartner Peer Insights report highlights Tenable’s ease of deployment, intuitive user interface, and ability to integrate cloud security data into a broader exposure management view. Reviewers also emphasized the platform’s automation, actionable insights, and strong reporting capabilities, which enable faster decision-making and more focused remediation efforts across large cloud estates.

Gartner defines CNAPPs as integrated platforms designed to protect cloud-native infrastructure and applications through a combination of proactive and reactive security controls. These include vulnerability detection, configuration and compliance management, behavioral analytics, and risk prioritization—areas where Tenable continues to invest as part of its broader exposure management strategy.

By unifying cloud security within a single exposure management framework, Tenable aims to help organizations reduce risk, break down operational silos, and strengthen their overall security posture in an increasingly cloud-driven threat landscape.
