Company’s debut in Forrester Wave report highlights its rapid innovation in Kubernetes and cloud-native technologies
Nutanix, a global leader in hybrid multicloud computing, has been recognized as a Leader in The Forrester Wave™: Multicloud Container Platforms, Q3 2025. This marks Nutanix’s first appearance in the report, following the successful launch of its Nutanix Kubernetes Platform (NKP) at the .NEXT conference last year.
The NKP offering was born out of Nutanix’s strategic acquisition of D2iQ, Inc.’s Kubernetes platform, enabling the company to deliver a robust solution for managing cloud-native applications across diverse environments. Building on this momentum, Nutanix introduced its Cloud Native AOS solution earlier this year, extending enterprise-grade storage and data services to hyperscaler Kubernetes services and bare-metal environments—without the need for a hypervisor.
“Nutanix has debuted as a leader for one of our newest product offerings designed to support cloud native application environments and multicloud container management.”
— Lee Caswell, SVP of Product and Solutions Marketing, Nutanix
Forrester’s evaluation praised Nutanix for revitalizing its Kubernetes strategy, citing its integration of D2iQ’s technology and leadership as key to creating a unified enterprise platform that spans data center, cloud, and edge. The report also highlighted Nutanix’s mature partner ecosystem and detailed roadmap, which aligns cloud-native innovation with the broader Nutanix vision.
Lee Caswell, SVP of Product and Solutions Marketing at Nutanix, emphasized the significance of the recognition: “Customers can achieve success for their cloud native initiatives by using Nutanix’s open, multicloud approach to modular enterprise Kubernetes platforms designed with developer choice in mind. With NKP, companies can run their modern containerized applications anywhere and have them managed in a unified way.”
NKP empowers platform engineering teams with a CNCF-compliant cloud-native stack, offering a consistent operating model for securely managing Kubernetes clusters across on-premises, hybrid, and multicloud environments. It simplifies monitoring, reduces operational complexity, and enables container management at scale.
With customers worldwide already adopting NKP, Nutanix continues to drive innovation in cloud-native infrastructure, solidifying its position as a trusted partner for enterprises navigating the multicloud era.
