Nutanix Expands Agentic AI Capabilities to Help Neoclouds Deliver High‑Value, Secure AI Services

Nutanix

Nutanix, a leader in hybrid multicloud computing, today announced plans to extend its Nutanix Agentic AI solution with new capabilities in the second half of 2026, aimed at empowering a new generation of AI cloud providers commonly known as neoclouds to deliver secure, scalable and enterprise‑ready AI services.

The upcoming enhancements are designed to complement AI infrastructure automation and AI platform services with a new multitenant and AI management portal, enabling governed, self‑service consumption for AI engineers and agentic AI developers. As the AI market evolves beyond large‑scale training workloads, enterprises are increasingly focused on running inference and deploying agentic AI applications in production at scale driving demand for platforms that combine performance, security, control and predictable cost models.

Neocloud providers, which initially emerged to provide rapid on‑demand access to GPUs, are now evolving into full‑stack AI service platforms. Nutanix aims to support this transition by enabling neoclouds to offer a broader catalog of services, including GPU‑as‑a‑service, Kubernetes‑as‑a‑service, and an enterprise‑grade AI platform powered by Nutanix Agentic AI.

“Demand for sovereign and specialized AI clouds is accelerating, and neocloud providers need platforms that deliver enterprise‑grade AI with control, security, and scalability.”

Thomas Cornely, Executive Vice President, Product Management, Nutanix

The Nutanix Agentic AI solution delivers a complete software stack purpose‑built to accelerate adoption of agentic AI. It is designed to reduce operational complexity, optimize performance and security, and lower AI token costs. The addition of a multitenant, multiservice portal will allow neocloud providers to support sovereign AI deployments, giving enterprises and public sector organizations greater control over data residency, infrastructure and AI operations.

To further enable multi‑customer environments, Nutanix will introduce next‑generation multitenancy capabilities through Nutanix Service Provider Central. These enhancements provide strong tenant isolation, granular resource management and dynamic allocation of GPU and compute resources across multiple customers, while ensuring predictable performance and data separation.

Complementing these features, Nutanix Cloud Manager (NCM) will expand support for AI service operations with improved monitoring and usage‑based metering, allowing providers to track and monetize services based on GPU usage, API calls or model consumption.

“Across the Middle East and Africa, we’re seeing rapid adoption of sovereign and specialized AI cloud models,” said Mohammad Abulhouf, Vice President & GM, Middle East & Africa, Nutanix. “With Nutanix Agentic AI, neocloud providers can evolve beyond infrastructure and deliver secure, high‑value AI services that meet the growing needs of enterprises and government organizations.”

Together, these capabilities position Nutanix to play a central role in the next phase of AI cloud innovation where secure, scalable and developer‑friendly AI platforms are critical for enterprise adoption.
