Strategic collaboration will drive AI, cloud services, and IT modernization

NTT DATA has been selected by UPS for a 10-year strategic partnership aimed at transforming the logistics giant’s digital infrastructure. The initiative will modernize UPS’s IT systems and data centers while enabling cloud migration, AI integration, and the development of new digital products.

Under the agreement, NTT DATA will take over operations of one of UPS’s core data centers and provide a hybrid solution combining public cloud and on-premises infrastructure. The move is expected to streamline operations, reduce costs, and fuel innovation.

Ken Finnerty, Senior Vice President of Global Information Technology at UPS, added: “NTT DATA will bring world-class data center and infrastructure services to UPS. This arrangement allows the UPS technology teams, under our ‘Efficiency Reimagined’ initiatives, to focus their expertise on the development of digital solutions to solve customers’ supply chain needs.”
