Autonomous AI-powered agents take center stage as Microsoft showcases its next-gen cybersecurity vision and solutions at the region’s largest infosec event
Microsoft is spotlighting the transformational potential of Agentic AI in cybersecurity at GISEC Global 2025, unveiling its latest advancements that empower defenders with intelligent, autonomous tools. As threat actors increasingly exploit AI for deception, Microsoft is countering with Security Copilot Agents—AI agents designed to autonomously detect, triage, and respond to cyber threats, reducing response times and enabling security teams to focus on high-impact issues.
The company’s next-generation Microsoft Security Copilot Agents work continuously within defined safety boundaries to prioritize risks, reduce alert fatigue, and adapt to complex and evolving threats. Demonstrating its real-world value, Microsoft partner Help AG is showcasing a Phishing Triage Agent that automates the handling of routine phishing alerts and cyberattacks—freeing up human experts for more strategic tasks.
“With Microsoft Security Copilot and AI agents, we are redefining how security teams operate—turning cybersecurity into an unparalleled asset.”

“As Generative AI reshapes industries, it also presents new challenges in cybersecurity,” said Naim Yazbeck, General Manager of Microsoft UAE. “Cybercriminals are leveraging these advancements to develop more sophisticated methods, making it crucial for us to stay ahead with innovative solutions. Microsoft is embedding AI across our security platforms to give defenders the intelligence, automation, and agility needed to secure the digital future.”
The Microsoft Hub in Hall 6 offers attendees hands-on access to the latest cybersecurity innovations, including Microsoft Security Copilot, a Generative AI assistant that integrates across Microsoft’s security ecosystem—Defender, Sentinel, and Intune—to streamline investigations, detect threats, and provide actionable intelligence. Visitors can also explore live demos and use cases presented by 12 Microsoft partners, including BPS, CPX, Cloud4C, Insight, Paramount/Ahlan Cyber, TrustWave, and Rubrik, among others.
Microsoft’s participation also includes insights from its latest Cyber Signals report titled “AI-powered deception: Emerging fraud threats and countermeasures”, which exposes how bad actors are using Generative AI to create hyper-realistic phishing content, clone voices, fabricate images, and manipulate websites at scale. Backed by trillions of daily security signals, Microsoft’s platforms have thwarted $4 billion in fraud attempts and blocked over 49,000 fraudulent partner enrollments in the past year.
“At GISEC 2025, we are showing how AI is not only changing the threat landscape—but also empowering defenders to transform their response,” said Tariq Halawani, Executive Director, Enterprise Solutions, Microsoft UAE. “This is about turning cybersecurity from a vulnerability into a strategic strength.”
With interactive zones dedicated to Microsoft Entra, Microsoft Purview, and Threat Protection, the Microsoft Hub fosters deeper engagement, learning, and collaboration around securing an AI-powered future. GISEC Global 2025 hosts over 750 cybersecurity brands and 25,000 professionals from more than 160 countries, underscoring its role as the region’s premier cybersecurity showcase.
Microsoft’s presence reinforces its commitment to helping organizations align with national and global visions for cyber resilience—while responsibly unleashing the potential of AI across public and private sectors.
