IFS Appoints Robi Gone as CIO to Drive Global Technology Transformation

Former Shell executive brings deep enterprise IT expertise to scale innovation and modernize IFS’s global technology landscape.

IFS, the global leader in Industrial AI software, has announced the appointment of Robi Gone as its new Chief Information Officer (CIO), marking a pivotal moment in the company’s journey to scale innovation and strengthen its technology backbone. Robi succeeds Helena Nimmo, who is retiring after a tenure that saw significant strides in IT modernization and security.

Robi joins IFS from Shell, where he spent over a decade in senior IT leadership roles. Most recently, he served as IT Global GM for Finance, spearheading Shell’s digital transformation through next-generation ERP systems and global SaaS implementations. His experience spans enterprise performance management, large-scale digital platforms, and operational excellence—skills that will be critical as IFS accelerates its growth.
