HID Unveils Integration Service to Bridge Physical and Cybersecurity Systems

New IPaaS platform promises faster deployment, reduced costs, and unified identity management

HID, a global leader in identity and access management, has launched a new Integration Service aimed at simplifying the increasingly complex landscape of physical and digital security. Announced at ISC West 2025, the HID Integration Service is a cloud-native Integration Platform-as-a-Service (IPaaS) designed to connect physical security systems with cybersecurity infrastructure and digital identity platforms.

As security environments grow in complexity, organizations are struggling with rigid, high-maintenance integrations that are expensive and slow to evolve. HID’s new service promises to change that by giving application developers, system integrators, and solution vendors a faster and more resilient way to deploy and manage security integrations.

“Our Integration Service reduces these barriers, helping partners and customers deliver secure, unified solutions with speed, scale, and reliability.”

“Organizations have long struggled with brittle, complex integrations and the costs to maintain them,” said Martin Ladstaetter, SVP and Head of Identity and Access Management Solutions at HID. “Our Integration Service reduces these barriers, helping partners and customers deliver secure, unified solutions with speed, scale, and reliability.”

The platform supports point-to-point and multi-party integrations, and comes with pre-built connectors that reduce time-to-market and development costs. It is also built with scalability and security in mind, aligning with the shifting needs of modern enterprises.

The launch is already gaining traction with early adopters like SwiftConnect and CloudCard, who cite faster integration and reduced development burdens as key benefits.

The solution’s relevance is reinforced by HID’s 2025 State of Security and Identity Report, which found that 67% of security leaders are prioritizing software-driven solutions, with unified data integration becoming mission-critical for nearly 75% of organizations.

As physical and digital security continue to converge, HID’s Integration Service is positioned to serve as the connective tissue for next-generation identity ecosystems.
