Unmatched performance, silicon choice, and sovereign deployment for enterprise AI at scale

Core42, a G42 company specializing in sovereign cloud and AI infrastructure, has announced the global availability of OpenAI’s latest open-weight models, including gpt-oss-20B and gpt-oss-120B, on the Core42 AI Cloud. Instantly accessible via the Compass API, the deployment enables enterprises, developers, and researchers to run these advanced models on their choice of leading GPUs and accelerators, with sovereign control and industry-leading performance.

The integration delivers inference speeds of up to 3,000 tokens per second per user, enabling real-time AI applications at global scale. Organizations can align workloads with the optimal silicon platform to balance cost, performance, and scalability — a critical advantage for sectors with demanding AI needs such as healthcare, finance, and national security.

“Through the Compass API, organizations can access the latest open-weight AI models and choose the optimal platform to scale transformation, optimize performance and cost, and drive progress across global markets.”

“Core42 AI Cloud, powered by silicon-diverse infrastructure, delivers the flexibility and performance needed for today’s AI workloads,” said Kiril Evtimov, CEO of Core42 and Group CTO, G42. “Through the Compass API, organizations can access the latest open-weight AI models and choose the optimal platform to scale transformation, optimize performance and cost, and drive progress across global markets.”

Key benefits include:

  • Enterprise-scale performance – handle the most demanding workloads with speed and efficiency, enabling advanced automation and real-time AI.
  • Sovereign-ready scalability – deploy and manage AI in-country with full data sovereignty for regulated sectors.
  • Optimized committed environments – ensure predictable performance and cost under dedicated infrastructure agreements.
  • Cost-efficient agentic AI – deliver agentic workloads at lower cost while maintaining sovereign control.

The models are available now through the Compass API, with options for local or cloud deployment, fine-tuning, and transparent customization. This marks a pivotal step toward enterprise AI autonomy, giving organizations the tools to tailor AI to their specific requirements.

The launch follows G42’s recent milestones, including unveiling a 5GW US-UAE AI campus and opening the 1GW Stargate UAE facility as Phase 1 of the project, alongside a $1.5 billion Microsoft investment in 2024, further cementing the UAE’s status as a global AI hub.
