Check Point Expands Harmony SASE with Enterprise Browser to Secure Unmanaged Devices

New feature transforms BYOD and contractor laptops into Zero Trust–ready endpoints without agents or costly workarounds

Check Point Software Technologies Ltd. (NASDAQ: CHKP), a global leader in cybersecurity, has expanded its Harmony SASE offering with the launch of Enterprise Browser, a Chromium-based solution that extends Zero Trust security to unmanaged devices. The new capability allows organizations to safeguard critical data while enabling secure, compliant access for contractors, third-party partners, and BYOD (bring-your-own-device) users.

As enterprises embrace hybrid workforces and complex partner ecosystems, unmanaged devices have emerged as one of the biggest security blind spots. They expose businesses to data leakage, compliance failures, and insider threats, while traditional workarounds — such as issuing laptops or provisioning VPN access — add cost, complexity, and friction.

“Enterprises can no longer afford to choose between productivity and security. Check Point Enterprise Browser delivers both.”

— Amit Bareket, VP of SASE, Check Point Software Technologies

The Check Point Enterprise Browser addresses this challenge by creating an isolated, ephemeral workspace that applies enterprise-grade security controls for the duration of each session, wiping sensitive data upon closure. This ensures that unmanaged devices can access enterprise systems without persisting risk.

Key features include:

  • Data Isolation & Wipe to prevent corporate data from mixing with personal device environments.
  • Integrated DLP (data loss prevention) controls such as upload/download restrictions, copy-paste blocking, and dynamic watermarking.
  • Agentless Posture Checks, verifying antivirus status, OS version, and disk encryption before granting access.
  • Session Visibility, enabling navigation logs, screen capture, and recording for compliance audits.
  • Seamless Harmony SASE Integration, unifying Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA), policy enforcement, and single sign-on (SSO).

“Unmanaged devices are one of the last frontiers of enterprise security,” said Amit Bareket, VP of SASE at Check Point. “With Enterprise Browser for BYOD and Harmony Browse for managed devices, we are delivering comprehensive browser security that balances compliance, control, and user experience.”

Beyond security, the solution offers agility — enabling faster onboarding of third parties, ensuring HIPAA, GDPR, and NIS2 compliance, and reducing IT overhead by eliminating the need for costly hardware provisioning.

By making unmanaged devices secure endpoints, Check Point is bridging a critical security gap and helping enterprises embrace flexible, distributed work models without compromising resilience.
