New integration embeds real-time guardrails, DLP, and threat prevention into Microsoft Copilot Studio to protect enterprise AI innovation at scale
As enterprises accelerate the development of generative AI agents, security and governance have become strategic priorities. Addressing this critical gap, Check Point Software Technologies has partnered with Microsoft to embed its prevention-first AI security capabilities directly into Microsoft Copilot Studio, enabling organizations to build and deploy AI agents with continuous runtime protection, governance, and compliance.
The new integration brings Check Point’s AI Guardrails, Data Loss Prevention (DLP), and Threat Prevention technologies into the Copilot Studio environment — securing every agent interaction, workflow, and data connection across the enterprise.
With AI agents rapidly evolving from assisting to acting autonomously — making decisions, accessing confidential data, and integrating with third-party tools — enterprises face new risks such as prompt injection, data leakage, model misuse, and compliance drift. Traditional controls are not designed for AI-first workflows, creating a widening security blind spot.
“AI agents don’t just converse — they act. And when they act, they can access systems, trigger workflows, and handle sensitive data. That’s where security must be proactive, predictive, and prevention-first.”
— Nataly Kremer, Chief Product Officer, Check Point Software Technologies
“The rapid adoption of AI agents brings not only innovation and efficiency, but also new security challenges around maintaining data integrity and preventing misuse of sensitive information,” said Nataly Kremer, Chief Product Officer at Check Point. “Together with Microsoft, we’re enabling prevention-first protection directly inside Microsoft Copilot Studio — ensuring every AI interaction, including autonomous actions, remains secure, compliant, and aligned with enterprise policies.”
Key capabilities enabled by the integration:
- Runtime AI Guardrails – Continuous real-time protection against prompt manipulation, model misuse, data leakage, and policy violations
- Integrated DLP and Threat Prevention – Safeguards sensitive data across every agent-triggered workflow, API call, and tool action
- Enterprise-Grade Scale and Precision – Designed for large-scale deployment without compromising performance
- Prevention-First AI Security for Productivity – Empowers innovation while delivering full visibility, governance, and risk mitigation
“As organizations embrace Microsoft Copilot Studio to build AI agents tailored to their business, security and compliance are paramount,” said David Blyth, VP Engineering, Copilot Studio, Microsoft. “Our relationship with Check Point helps customers innovate with confidence — combining Microsoft’s trusted Copilot platform with Check Point’s prevention-first AI security to protect data and AI workflows by design.”
The collaboration expands Check Point’s mission to secure the full AI lifecycle — from model development to runtime execution, across workplace, applications, and cloud ecosystems. It positions Check Point as a key player in shaping the emerging AI security stack for enterprise-grade AI adoption.
