AXIS D6210 Air Quality Sensor and AXIS D4200‑VE Network Strobe Speaker recognised for innovation, integration and impact across regional safety and security markets

Axis Communications has been honoured with two major wins at the Intersec Awards 2026, reinforcing its leadership in safety, environmental monitoring and commercial security. The awards ceremony, held at Conrad Dubai alongside Intersec Dubai 2026 (January 12–14), recognised the company’s ongoing commitment to developing advanced, integrated technologies that improve protection and operational resilience across industries.

The AXIS D6210 Air Quality Sensor was awarded Best Safety Protection Solution. Designed to support healthier, safer indoor environments, the D6210 can detect a wide range of pollutants including particulate matter (PM), volatile organic compounds (VOC), nitrogen oxides (NOx) and carbon dioxide (CO₂). Easy to install and integrate with other Axis devices, the sensor can automatically trigger events when air‑quality thresholds are exceeded — enabling faster, data‑driven responses to environmental risks.

“We are very proud of the recognition of multiple Axis solutions at the Intersec Awards and extend our gratitude to the organisers, partners and esteemed jury members.”

— Rudie Opperman, Engineering & Training Manager, EMEA, Axis Communications

Rudie Opperman said the win highlights the company’s focus on purposeful innovation. “Devices like the D6210 Air Quality Sensor show the power of integration and how connected systems help protect people, places and assets.”

Axis also received the Best Commercial Security Solution award for its AXIS D4200‑VE Network Strobe Speaker. Built for both indoor and outdoor environments, the powerful strobe speaker enhances intrusion deterrence, mass notification and health‑and‑safety communications across sectors such as retail, transportation, logistics and critical infrastructure. It integrates with AXIS Audio Manager for zone control, scheduling and advanced audio automation, and has previously won Best Mass Communication/Mass Notification Product at InfoComm 2025.

“These wins demonstrate Axis’s commitment to innovating with purpose and delivering solutions that advance communication, environmental safety and operational protection.” — Rudie Opperman

Opperman said the double win reflects the brand’s ongoing dedication to customer‑centric innovation. “We will continue to innovate and deliver products that meet the evolving safety and security needs of organisations.”

Axis also extended congratulations to all 2026 Intersec Award winners.
