Strategic move aligns with Cyber Security Strategy 2023–2030 to position Australia as a global cybersecurity leader
Australia has made a significant stride in its cyber diplomacy and innovation agenda by launching its first-ever national Cyber Pavilion at GISEC Global 2025, the Middle East and Africa’s largest cybersecurity event.
The Pavilion showcases 13 Australian companies and organisations at the forefront of cyber defence, secure communications, identity protection, compliance automation, and resilience. The initiative is spearheaded by SharePass in collaboration with the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) and is supported by the Australian Information Security Association (AISA), reinforcing the country’s whole-of-ecosystem approach to cybersecurity.
“We’re honoured to lead the first official Australian Pavilion at GISEC,” said Yuri Miloslavsky, CEO of SharePass. “It’s more than a showcase – it’s a statement that Australia is ready to be a trusted global partner in cyber innovation, resilience, and digital safety.”

Participating companies include Avertro, Simbian AI, BlueParadigm, Identity1, HelloRisk, Cygence, Cyberheed, Airlock Digital, KBI Media, Vericient, IT Junction, AISA, and SharePass. Their presence highlights Australia’s growing capability and ambition in exporting sovereign cybersecurity solutions and forging international partnerships.
“Australia’s cyber sector builds world-class innovation more efficiently than any other part of the world,” said Ian Yip, CEO of Avertro. “Cyber is global, and so are we. We’re here to build partnerships that help secure our shared digital future.”
The initiative aligns with the Australian Government’s Cyber Security Strategy 2023–2030, which aims to position the nation as a global cybersecurity leader by the end of the decade. By participating in a major regional platform like GISEC, Australia is making a strategic investment in the fast-growing digital economy of the Middle East and Africa, while amplifying its influence on the global cybersecurity stage.
