Denodo Named a Leader in Gartner Magic Quadrant for Data Integration Tools for Seventh Consecutive Year

Denodo Named Top Vendor in Dresner Active Data Report 2025

The recognition comes as enterprises seek governed, AI-ready data and greater automation to support the growing use of autonomous AI agents.

Denodo has been named a Leader in the 2026 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Data Integration Tools for the seventh consecutive year, reinforcing the growing importance of unified data access, governance and integration as enterprises scale AI initiatives.

The report, published on November 2, 2026, evaluates 19 vendors in the data integration market. Gartner describes data integration tools as a foundational component of modern data architecture, supporting operational, analytical and AI use cases. It also forecasts that 60% of data integration tasks will be completed autonomously by 2028, freeing up 20% of data engineers’ time.

Denodo attributes its continued recognition to its investments in agentic AI capabilities and the strength of its customer base. Over the past year, the company has expanded automation and AI support across its Denodo Platform. Version 9.4, released in March 2026, focused on enabling AI systems, applications and users to access live data with business context and governance controls. Version 9.5, introduced in July, added an active context layer designed to help AI agents operate with more relevant and reliable information.

“An overarching, cross-platform AI data layer, with active context, provides the most effective foundation for tackling complex challenges with autonomous AI.”

“The goals of data integration are now driven by the needs of agentic AI, which is for AI-ready data that is immediately integrated, governed, and supported by active context,” said Ravi Shankar, Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer at Denodo. He said the platform provides a cross-platform AI data layer intended to support trustworthy data access and increasingly autonomous operations.

Customer feedback offers another measure of the platform’s market position. As of November 2026, Denodo Platform holds an average rating of 4.6 out of five from 337 ratings on Gartner Peer Insights. Customer reviews cited improvements in developer productivity, delivery times, data governance, security and API creation. One insurance-sector IT manager reported more than doubling developer productivity compared with conventional ETL coding, while a manufacturing IT professional highlighted the platform’s data virtualisation, access controls, lineage and performance optimisation capabilities.

The recognition comes as enterprises reassess data integration strategies for AI deployments. As agents begin executing multi-step tasks across business systems, access to timely information alone is insufficient; organisations also need consistent business context, security policies and governance across distributed data environments.

Denodo’s positioning reflects this shift from conventional data integration towards an AI-ready data layer that can support analytics, applications and autonomous agents without requiring all enterprise information to be consolidated in one location.
