With more than 185,000 users globally, Salesforce is expanding Coworker across workplace applications, devices and enterprise workflows as organisations move beyond AI experimentation.
Salesforce says monthly usage of its Agentforce Coworker platform has increased 21-fold in three months, averaging 2.8x growth month on month, while its global user base has crossed 185,000. Enterprises including The Adecco Group, Accenture, Fulton Bank and BACA Systems are already deploying the service across their teams.
The growth comes as the UAE accelerates its national AI ambitions. PwC estimates that AI could contribute US$96 billion to the UAE economy by 2030, equivalent to 13.6% of GDP. The UAE Digital Economy Strategy aims to double the digital economy’s contribution to non-oil GDP to 20% by the same year. Meanwhile, IDC expects Middle East AI spending to reach US$11.4 billion by 2027, with the UAE and Saudi Arabia among the region’s fastest-growing markets.
“Business leaders in the UAE no longer ask whether AI works. They ask how fast it can be trusted with real work, under real governance, at real scale,” said Mohammed Alkhotani, Senior Vice President and General Manager, Salesforce Middle East. He said Coworker uses existing business context, permissions and controls to help organisations move from AI adoption to measurable business outcomes.
Agentforce Coworker is designed to function as an AI teammate rather than a standalone chatbot. Users can assign a task, allowing the platform to plan the work, coordinate specialised agents and workflows, and return results and recommended actions for human review. Built into Salesforce and Data 360, it draws on enterprise information such as customer accounts, sales pipelines, service cases and contracts, while operating within existing security and governance controls.
“The question is how fast AI can be trusted with real work, under real governance, at real scale.”

The latest expansion extends Coworker beyond Salesforce. Google Workspace connectivity and conversation History are available now, while Skills allow users to turn established workflows into reusable, one-line requests. A new integration with Microsoft Teams will let employees delegate work and coordinate agents without leaving the collaboration platform. Microsoft 365 connectivity will add access to email, calendars and files.
Salesforce is also extending access through iOS, Mac and Windows applications, expected later in November. A Coworker MCP server will connect the platform to additional data sources. Scheduled tasks and a Daily Digest, planned for December, are intended to support recurring assignments and surface users’ daily priorities.
For enterprise buyers, Salesforce has introduced a US$50 per-user monthly pricing option, providing a more predictable cost model as deployments expand across departments.
Google Workspace connectivity, History, Skills and the new pricing option are available now. Microsoft Teams integration, mobile and desktop applications, Microsoft 365 connectivity and the MCP server are scheduled for November 2026, with scheduled tasks and Daily Digest expected in December.
The 21-fold usage increase signals growing interest in AI systems that can take responsibility for multi-step tasks. The next test for enterprise adoption will be whether organisations can translate that activity into measurable productivity gains while maintaining oversight, accountability and control.
