Kyndryl has introduced Agentic Modernization services-as-software, designed to help enterprises accelerate technology modernization through AI-driven workflows. Built on the Kyndryl Agentic AI Framework and scaled through Kyndryl Bridge, the offering combines Kyndryl’s engineering expertise with agentic AI to support continuous modernization.
The new services codify Kyndryl’s mission-critical technology and engineering knowledge into pre-defined workflows that can automate activities including discovery, code analysis, dependency mapping, target-state design, code generation, testing and validation.

The move comes as enterprises seek greater returns from AI investments. Kyndryl’s 2026 survey of 1,100 business and technology leaders found that while 77% of executives said generative AI had been scaled across multiple functions, only 32% reported achieving one of their top desired outcomes.
Kyndryl Bridge, which has supported more than 1,400 customers since its launch in 2022, provides the enterprise foundation for deploying and governing AI-powered workflows across hybrid IT environments. The platform generates more than 16 million AI insights monthly and has demonstrated reductions in IT incidents of up to 50%.
The services-as-software model is intended to compress modernization timelines, lower costs and reduce dependence on specialised skills. It also allows enterprises to adopt new AI models and tools based on cost, performance and governance requirements without being locked into a particular technology stack.
