Advanced reasoning and agentic AI capabilities now available through WorkBuddy, Miora, Tencent Cloud TokenHub, APIs, and global developer platforms
Tencent has announced the global availability of Tencent Hy3, its next-generation large language model, expanding access for enterprises, developers, and users worldwide. The move is designed to help organizations accelerate AI adoption by providing advanced reasoning, coding, and agentic capabilities through a growing ecosystem of products and platforms.
Originally launched in July 2026, Hy3 is now available through WorkBuddy, Tencent Design Miora, and Tencent Cloud TokenHub, with additional integrations planned across Tencent Cloud’s AI-native portfolio. Developers can also access the model through APIs and integrate it into coding environments, third-party platforms, and enterprise applications.
According to Tencent, Hy3 has already gained significant traction within the developer community. The model recorded more than 68 times the API usage of its predecessor and reached the top position on OpenRouter’s global LLM usage leaderboard within a week of launch.
Built on a hybrid fast- and slow-thinking Mixture-of-Experts (MoE) architecture, Hy3 features 295 billion total parameters, including 21 billion active parameters, and supports context lengths of up to 256K tokens. Tencent says the model delivers performance comparable to leading AI systems while operating with greater efficiency.
A key differentiator for Hy3 is that it has been co-developed and refined within Tencent’s product ecosystem, benefiting from feedback generated by millions of users and large-scale enterprise deployments. The company says this continuous feedback loop has helped improve model reliability, reasoning capabilities, coding performance, and agentic functionality across real-world use cases.
“Hy3 marks a significant step in how Tencent Cloud International is helping organisations move beyond AI experimentation and put intelligence to work in practical, trusted and scalable ways.”

Tencent’s AI workspace platform WorkBuddy now leverages Hy3 to support tasks ranging from research and data analysis to document creation, presentations, and workplace communications. The platform includes multi-agent capabilities and more than 100 built-in skills, allowing users to execute complex workflows using natural-language prompts.
The model is also integrated with Tencent Design Miora, an AI-native creative platform that enables users to generate production-ready assets including graphics, video, 3D content, and user interfaces through natural-language instructions.
For enterprises, Tencent Cloud TokenHub provides centralized access to Hy3 and multiple AI models through a single API, enabling flexible deployment, intelligent model routing, governance controls, and cost management.
Tencent has also chosen to make Hy3 available under the Apache 2.0 open-source license, allowing developers to customize, deploy, and build on the model within their own environments.
With infrastructure spanning 66 availability zones across 23 regions and more than 3,200 acceleration nodes worldwide, Tencent aims to help enterprises move beyond AI pilots and deploy scalable, production-ready AI solutions powered by advanced reasoning and agentic intelligence.
