ManageEngine

ManageEngine today announced that its privileged access management platform, PAM360, has achieved a 219% return on investment (ROI) with a payback period of just 3.8 months, according to an independent Product Value Navigator study conducted by KuppingerCole Analysts. The research evaluated the economic impact of PAM360 across enterprise deployments and assigned the solution a Strong Buy recommendation with an overall score of 8/10.

The study highlights PAM360’s strong financial performance, interoperability, and operational impact, awarding it a perfect 10/10 for Economic Fit, the highest possible rating. KuppingerCole estimates that organizations can realize an average of $107,914 in annual value, translating to $323,742 over three years, based on customer interviews, industry benchmarks, and value modeling.

Jonathan Care, lead analyst at KuppingerCole Analysts, said the market now expects PAM solutions to provide broad integrations, adaptive controls, and immediate ROI without the licensing complexity associated with traditional enterprise platforms.

“Every dollar invested in security must deliver measurable, lasting value PAM360 proves that it can.”

— Ramanathan Kannabiran, Director of Product Management ManageEngine

PAM360’s architecture built for unified privileged access control across complex IT environments was cited as a key contributor to its economic efficiency. ManageEngine’s director of product management, Ramanathan Kannabiran, noted that the results validate the product’s philosophy. “PAM360 was designed to bring enterprise-grade PAM without sacrificing speed or simplicity,” he said. “A 219% ROI in under four months underscores exactly why customers choose it.”

Beyond financial metrics, the study found that PAM360 strengthens risk management, reduces operational overhead, and increases business value creation. It also highlighted the platform’s 90+ integration points across SIEM, ITSM, CI/CD, and identity governance categories earning PAM360 an 8.5/10 for integration ecosystem.

KuppingerCole’s assessment positions ManageEngine’s PAM platform alongside established security leaders, aligning with the company’s recent recognition as a Challenger in both the KuppingerCole Leadership Compass 2024 and the 2025 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Privileged Access Management.
