Axis Communications to showcase next-generation intelligent security technologies at Intersec Dubai 2026

Loubna Imenchal

The global security landscape is rapidly evolving from traditional, reactive surveillance toward intelligent, AI-powered and data-driven systems. Reflecting this shift, Axis Communications will unveil its next-generation intelligent security technologies at Intersec Dubai 2026, demonstrating how analytics-driven innovation is redefining safety, efficiency, and smart operations across critical industries.

Held under the patronage of HH Sheikh Mansoor Bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the 27th edition of Intersec will take place from 12 to 14 January 2026 at the Dubai World Trade Centre. As one of the world’s most influential platforms for security and safety, the event brings together global technology leaders, policymakers, and industry experts to explore the future of intelligent protection.

“Security today is about intelligence, insight, and impact at the edge,” said Loubna Imenchal, Managing Director – Middle East, Türkiye, Central Asia and Africa, Axis Communications.

Axis’s participation at Intersec comes at a significant milestone—the 20th anniversary of its operations in the UAE, where its Dubai office serves as the regional headquarters for the Middle East and Africa. Over two decades, Axis has played a key role in the region’s transition from analogue to IP-based systems and, more recently, to cloud, hybrid, and AI-enabled architectures.

At Intersec 2026, Axis will highlight how AI at the edge is transforming security from passive monitoring into a source of real-time intelligence. Showcased innovations will include advanced edge-computing devices capable of generating actionable insights directly at the source, reducing latency, bandwidth use, and system load. Among the key technologies on display are the AXIS Q6358-LE PTZ Camera, AXIS Q3558-LVE outdoor camera, and AXIS P3277-LVE dome camera, all powered by the ARTPEC-9 system-on-chip that enables richer analytics, enhanced imaging, and strengthened cybersecurity.

Axis will also demonstrate its unified ecosystem approach, integrating video, audio, access control, radar, and analytics into a single intelligent platform to elevate situational awareness. Network audio solutions, radar-based detection, and body-worn technologies will illustrate how proactive, analytics-enabled systems can improve response and operational performance.

Collaboration remains central to Axis’s strategy. At Intersec, the company will be joined by partners including FF Group, icetana, CamStreamer, Waterview, PowerStack, and Hitachi Digital Services, showcasing how open-platform interoperability accelerates innovation and delivers greater value to customers.

As organizations increasingly adopt hybrid architectures, Axis will emphasize how intelligence embedded at the edge—combined with secure, resilient design—supports smarter cities, critical infrastructure protection, sustainability, and long-term cost efficiency.

Axis Communications will be exhibiting at Stand S1-F24, Dubai World Trade Centre, from 12 to 14 January 2026.
