Integration unites data resilience, DSPM, privacy, and AI trust to power secure and compliant AI innovation
Veeam Software, the global leader in data resilience, has announced a definitive agreement to acquire Securiti AI, a pioneer in Data Security Posture Management (DSPM) and AI trust solutions, for $1.725 billion. The acquisition aims to redefine how enterprises secure, recover, and unlock the value of data across hybrid, multi-cloud, and SaaS environments — paving the way for safe, scalable, and transparent AI adoption.
Through this strategic move, Veeam and Securiti AI will create a unified data command center that combines data protection, security, privacy, and governance under a single control plane. The integration empowers CIOs, CISOs, and CDOs to identify, secure, recover, and manage data seamlessly across production and backup systems — with near-zero data loss or downtime.
“Enterprise AI cannot succeed without trusted, secure data — together we make that possible.”
— Anand Eswaran, CEO, Veeam Software
“We’ve entered a new era for data. It’s not just about protecting it from cyber threats but ensuring it’s governed and trusted to power AI transparently,” said Anand Eswaran, CEO at Veeam. “By combining the market-leading strengths of Veeam and Securiti AI, we help customers understand, secure, recover, and unleash data to drive new business value.”
Rehan Jalil, CEO of Securiti AI, added, “Enterprise AI is simply not possible without data security. Together with Veeam, we’ll deliver a unified command center for resilience, DSPM, privacy, and AI trust — enabling organizations to innovate safely.”
Industry analysts hailed the move as a “transformational step” in bridging the gap between data security and resilience, ensuring enterprises can leverage AI with confidence, compliance, and control.
Following regulatory approvals, Jalil will join Veeam as President of Security and AI, spearheading innovation at the intersection of data protection and AI trust.
