Confluent, the data streaming pioneer, has announced a multi-year partnership with the Visa Cash App Racing Bulls (VCARB) Formula 1 team, bringing real-time intelligence to one of the sport’s most data-driven operations. Debuting at the Singapore Grand Prix, the VCARB 02 will carry Confluent’s logo on its halo and sidepods—symbolizing a deeper integration of data into race-day strategy and engineering.
Formula 1 cars generate over a million data points per second, from tire wear to driver telemetry. With Confluent’s platform, VCARB can stream this data across its entire ecosystem—connecting car, pit wall, and factory in a unified flow of insights. “Winning isn’t just about the car; it’s about the data flowing through every part of the team,” said Jay Kreps, CEO and co-founder of Confluent.
The partnership enables VCARB to make faster decisions, refine post-race analysis, and accelerate car development. “Every lap teaches us something new,” said Tim Goss, CTO of VCARB. “With Confluent, data becomes a competitive edge that helps us close the gap to the front of the grid.”
Beyond racing, the collaboration positions Formula 1 as a proving ground for enterprise-grade data infrastructure. It showcases how real-time data streaming can drive performance, innovation, and fan engagement—on the track and in business.
United by a challenger ethos, Confluent and VCARB aim to redefine what’s possible when milliseconds of advantage meet intelligent data in motion.
