Cybercrime disruption, green energy adoption, and inclusive workforce development mark Group-IB’s commitment to a safer and more sustainable digital future.
Group-IB, a global leader in cybersecurity technologies, has released its inaugural Sustainability Report, showcasing its alignment with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs) through environmental, social, and governance (ESG) initiatives.
The report highlights Group-IB’s role in dismantling cybercriminal infrastructure, with 207,442 compromised computers taken offline in 2024. These operations led to 1,221 arrests and prevented over \$2.7 billion in fraud losses. The environmental impact was equally significant, with nearly 22.4 million kWh of electricity saved—equivalent to avoiding 10,000 metric tons of CO₂ emissions.
Group-IB also announced that its Netherlands office now operates on 100% renewable electricity, thanks to a partnership with Greenchoice, reinforcing its commitment to reducing its carbon footprint.
On the social front, Group-IB expanded its global workforce by 41% last year, hiring 183 new employees across 30+ countries. The company offers gender-equal pay, comprehensive health coverage, and universal parental leave. Every employee receives a minimum of 32 hours of annual training and completes mandatory human rights and anti-corruption education.
Group-IB’s investment in cybersecurity talent includes six university partnerships and a robust internship program that trained 1,291 aspiring professionals in 2024. These efforts aim to build a diverse, future-ready workforce capable of defending against evolving digital threats.
Governance remains a cornerstone of Group-IB’s strategy. The company reported zero incidents of corruption, regulatory non-compliance, or data breaches during the reporting period. It also retained ISO/IEC 27001 and ISO 9001 certifications, supported by rigorous audits and a continuous improvement framework.
“Cybersecurity must safeguard more than data—it must safeguard our shared future,” said Anastasiia Komissarova, Deputy CEO of Group-IB. “By making our ESG progress public, we aim to prove that innovation, security, and sustainability can advance together.”
Group-IB’s Sustainability Report 2025 sets a new benchmark for the cybersecurity industry, demonstrating how digital resilience can contribute to a greener, more equitable world.
