Tenable One bridges siloed security tools for faster, smarter, business-aligned security decisions

In a major move to streamline enterprise cybersecurity operations, Tenable®, the exposure management company, has announced significant upgrades to its flagship platform, Tenable One. The enhancements include the rollout of Tenable One Connectors and customizable risk dashboards, aimed at breaking down operational silos and enabling organizations to visualize and manage cyber risk in real-time — regardless of the mix of tools in their environment.

Powered by Tenable ExposureAI and built on the Tenable Exposure Data Fabric, the new capabilities empower organizations with a unified, AI-driven risk management experience that spans across disparate security tools.

In today’s fragmented cybersecurity landscape, enterprises are burdened with an average of 83 disjointed tools, according to IBM’s “Capturing the Cybersecurity Dividend” report (Jan 2025). These disconnected systems lead to operational inefficiencies, data blind spots, and delayed responses to critical threats. Tenable One addresses this challenge by consolidating data from both native and third-party sources, transforming siloed insights into business-aligned intelligence.

“The power of Tenable One enables organizations to view risks across security tools in context and focus remediation efforts on the exposures that matter most.”

— Steve Vintz, Co-Chief Executive Officer and CFO, Tenable

With a rapidly expanding library of plug-and-play Connectors, Tenable One integrates seamlessly with a wide range of third-party solutions including endpoint detection and response (EDR), cloud security, vulnerability management, OT security, and ticketing platforms. These integrations eliminate blind spots and provide security leaders with a centralized, actionable view of their exposure landscape.

At the heart of these new capabilities is Tenable ExposureAI, a machine learning engine that sifts through complex risk signals to highlight toxic combinations and hidden attack paths, and recommends priority actions based on business impact. This intelligence is enabled by the Tenable Exposure Data Fabric, a scalable, cloud-native foundation that ingests and normalizes data from across the enterprise.

The result is proactive exposure management that moves security teams from reactive fire-fighting to strategic defense.

The platform’s unified risk dashboards bring a fresh layer of usability and business alignment. Designed to replace time-consuming manual reporting, these dashboards are fully customizable to suit different user roles — from CISOs to operations teams — and offer powerful visualizations for faster decision-making.

“Tenable One allows security leaders to communicate risk in a language the business understands,” said Steve Vintz. “This business alignment is critical in helping CISOs advocate for the right resources and strategies.”

These advancements also represent a key milestone following Tenable’s acquisition of Vulcan Cyber. The combined strength positions Tenable to lead the exposure management market with unmatched operational scale, intelligence, and integration breadth.
