IFS Joins UK AI Policy Group to Shape Global AI Governance

IFS

Enterprise AI leader appointed as Advisory Board Member of UK’s All-Party Parliamentary Group on AI

IFS has been appointed as an Advisory Board Member of the UK’s All-Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) on AI. This strategic role positions IFS alongside policymakers and industry leaders, including Meta, Capgemini, Deloitte, and Santander, to shape AI governance at the highest level.

Representing IFS on the Advisory Board is Bianca Nobilo, IFS Executive Board Member & Chief External Affairs Officer, who brings her expertise in geopolitics and AI strategy to policy discussions in Westminster.

“AI is no longer just a technological breakthrough—it’s a geopolitical force, an economic driver, and a competitive differentiator,” said Nobilo. “At IFS, we develop AI solutions that power some of the world’s most complex industries, and it’s imperative that we help shape the governance that surrounds them.”

Since its formation in 2017, the APPG on AI has led policy debates on AI’s economic and societal impact. The group’s secretariat, Professor Birgitte Andersen, highlighted IFS’s critical role:

“The APPG on AI fosters open debate and diverse perspectives. We are thrilled to welcome Bianca Nobilo to our Advisory Board. The expertise of IFS across industries such as manufacturing, energy, and aerospace is crucial to understanding AI’s full potential.”

IFS continues to lead in Industrial AI, ensuring that AI technologies are developed responsibly, transparently, and with measurable business and societal impact.
