Land Lease Agreement Marks a Major Step in Saudi Arabia’s Digital Transformation

In a significant move towards bolstering Saudi Arabia’s digital infrastructure, DataVolt has inked a land lease agreement with The Saudi Authority for Industrial Cities and Technology Zones (MODON) to establish a cutting-edge AI-Ready data center in Riyadh. This state-of-the-art facility will be situated on a sprawling 55,000 square meter plot in east Riyadh’s First Technology Park, designed to meet the burgeoning demands of hyperscalers, cloud and content providers, and enterprises within the Kingdom.

The upcoming data center will be a beacon of sustainability, featuring advanced cooling systems and an eco-friendly design. It will be powered by optimized energy solutions, ensuring minimal environmental impact while supporting advanced AI processing capabilities.

DataVolt’s track record is impressive, with its investors and team having developed and operated over 20GW of renewable energy assets across nine countries. Their innovative approach enhances operational efficiencies, reduces carbon emissions, and enables customers to expand their digital footprint while adhering to sustainability goals.
