Strategic partnership to offer wallet credits and onboarding support to empower SMEs with unified business and payment solutions

In a major boost for digital transformation in the Middle East, Zoho and areeba have announced a $5 million strategic partnership to help businesses modernize their operations. The announcement was made at Seamless Dubai 2025, where the two companies signed an MoU to formalize the collaboration.

As part of the initiative, Zoho will invest up to USD 5 million in wallet credits, enabling areeba’s business customers in UAE, Qatar, Iraq, Jordan, Egypt, and Lebanon to access its full suite of 55+ cloud-based applications. These include Zoho CRM, Zoho Books, Zoho People, and Zoho Creator, all designed to streamline operations such as billing, payments, customer service, and workforce management.

“Through areeba’s reach, we’re bringing Zoho closer to the heart of business communities across the region.”

— Prem Anand Velumani, Associate Director, Strategic Alliances, Zoho MEA

The collaboration combines Zoho’s robust digital ecosystem with areeba’s deep expertise in financial technology and payment processing. Businesses will benefit from localised onboarding, webinars, and tailored packages to suit various industries and sizes.

Maher Mikati, CEO of areeba, added, “We are excited to bring added value to our customers by integrating world-class software into our fintech offering. It’s a strong move toward empowering businesses with modern, localised solutions.”

Zoho continues to see rapid growth in the MEA region, with high adoption of its RTL-compatible tools that support both global and regional payment gateways. The partnership is expected to go live in the coming months.
