WSO2, a leader in enterprise digital infrastructure, has appointed Sudesh Vasudevan as Vice President & Head of Corporate Development, reinforcing its focus on strategic investments and global expansion. His role will include shaping the company’s inorganic growth ambitions, accelerating acquisitions, and extending WSO2’s leadership in API management, integration, and identity security.
This appointment marks another key milestone following WSO2’s acquisition by EQT in 2024, signaling an expanded focus on both innovation and strategic market positioning. Sudesh brings deep expertise in M&A, corporate strategy, and value creation from his 15+ years in enterprise software and cybersecurity sectors.

He previously served at Gupshup, where he built corporate development and investment functions, executed six acquisitions, and helped triple company revenue. His earlier tenure at Evercore and Deutsche Bank saw him advising on over $50 billion in software sector M&A and IPO transactions.
