WSO2 Appoints New CMO as It Expands Global Push for Its Agentic Enterprise Platform

WSO2

WSO2 has announced the appointment of Thibaut Rouffineau as Chief Marketing Officer, strengthening its global go‑to‑market strategy as demand rises for secure, manageable, and sovereign AI deployments. The company also highlighted its growing portfolio built to power the agentic enterprise, supporting organizations as they modernize infrastructure and introduce AI capabilities in controlled and compliant ways.

As enterprises move from experimentation to real-world AI implementation, organizations are prioritizing modernization over full system replacement. This shift has created a pressing need to connect legacy systems with cloud-native platforms while layering in AI incrementally. WSO2’s unified stack spanning agent platforms, API management, integration, identity, and platform engineering has been designed to enable this transition. The company emphasizes secure control of how digital interactions, services, and AI models are deployed and governed across diverse environments.

WSO2’s approach also reflects a growing industry demand for data sovereignty, platform independence, and long‑term ownership of digital infrastructure. By embracing open technologies and flexible deployment models, WSO2 enables enterprises to run workloads in locations aligned with regulatory, operational, or regional requirements an increasingly vital capability across banking, telecommunications, government, and healthcare.

“WSO2 has a unique opportunity to help enterprises build intelligent, trusted, and scalable agent‑driven experiences.”

Rouffineau’s appointment signals WSO2’s plans to accelerate global expansion. With more than two decades of experience in technology marketing, he most recently served as Vice President of Marketing at Canonical Ltd., where he helped scale open-source and cloud innovation worldwide.

“I am excited to join WSO2 at such an important stage in its journey,” said Rouffineau. “The company’s rich portfolio and refreshed branding strategy clearly positions it to address the realities organizations face as they move from AI pilots to real, outcome-driven agent deployment.”

WSO2 says its agentic enterprise platform provides the foundational technology for orchestrating autonomous agents, managing APIs at scale, integrating complex systems, and ensuring secure, seamless identity governance all critical components for enterprise‑grade AI.
