Company sharpens its solutions-led strategy to meet rising demand for scalable digital modernization across the Middle East

WSO2 has announced a stronger solutions-led strategy aimed at supporting large enterprises and government entities advancing national digital transformation programs across the Middle East. The company’s renewed focus emphasizes high-impact industries particularly smart government, fintech, and digital health where regulatory modernization and national AI strategies are driving rapid adoption of secure, scalable digital platforms.

WSO2’s initial industry expansion centers on Banking, Financial Services and Insurance (BFSI), and Healthcare. Its new industry solution blueprints combine AI, APIs, integration, and data architectures into ready-to-deploy models. These include an API Banking Platform, AI-driven payment modernization frameworks, unified patient record architectures, and CMS-aligned prior authorization models. Government and public administration solutions are expected later this year, based on WSO2’s global initiatives in government data interoperability, national digital ID systems, and public/private API marketplaces supporting the UAE’s ambition to expand smart government and digital citizen services.

Beyond sector-specific offerings, WSO2 is aligning its transformation agenda with the UAE’s strategic national priorities, including hybrid cloud adoption, cloud repatriation, vendor consolidation, application modernization, API and data monetization, IT cost optimization, and enterprise readiness for AI. These initiatives aim to help major enterprises streamline complex integration environments, reduce dependence on fragmented vendor ecosystems, and modernize mission-critical digital platforms. This foundation enables leadership teams to scale digital innovation more efficiently.

“In the UAE, the conversation has moved beyond digital transformation to intelligent platform modernization at national scale,” said Mifan Careem, Senior Vice President and General Manager of Solutions at WSO2. “Our technology has long powered core integration and API platforms. What’s new is the focus on packaging this expertise into industry-ready solutions that help UAE organizations reduce fragmentation, meet regulatory and data residency requirements, accelerate smart services, and build the foundation for an AI-enabled landscape.”
