Experienced sales strategist to accelerate customer engagement and growth across the region
Veeam announced the promotion of Veronica Oprea, who brings over six years of experience with the company, to spearhead its inside sales strategy across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. Based in Bucharest, she has consistently demonstrated excellence in building high-performing teams and driving sales transformation.
In her previous role as Director, Inside Sales EMEA South & Acting Inside Sales Leader EMEA, Oprea led operational excellence, business analysis, and employee development initiatives. Her leadership has been pivotal in aligning sales operations with Veeam’s global vision for growth and customer-centric innovation.

Prior to joining Veeam, she held senior leadership roles at Oracle, where she managed support sales for the Hospitality & Retail South Region, leading change management programs and exceeding performance targets.
In her new role, Oprea will focus on strengthening Veeam’s sales strategy, accelerating pipeline creation, and deepening customer and partner relationships across key markets.

Oprea holds a Bachelor’s degree in Geographic Information Science and Cartography from the University of Bucharest.
