Recognition highlights Tenable One’s AI-powered platform unifying risk visibility, insight, and action across the modern attack surface

Tenable has been named a Leader in the IDC MarketScape: Worldwide Exposure Management 2025 Vendor Assessment (doc #US52994525, August 2025). The recognition underscores the strength of Tenable One, the company’s flagship platform that unifies visibility, insight, and action across IT, cloud, identity, operational technology (OT), AI, and beyond.

Powered by AI, Tenable One provides organizations with a complete, contextualized view of risk, helping them prioritize and remediate threats before they escalate. With more than 300 integrations, it is also the most open and interconnected exposure management platform in the market.

Eric Doerr, Chief Product Officer at Tenable, said the IDC recognition validates the company’s leadership in an evolving cybersecurity landscape. “In today’s complex risk environment, customers turn to Tenable to prevent breaches. Tenable One radically simplifies visibility, insight, and action by consolidating insights from the entire security stack, assessing risk in context, and enabling mobilization all in one platform.”

IDC emphasized the importance of proactive exposure management as organizations face expanding attack surfaces. “Proactive exposure management is the future as traditional vulnerability detection transforms into holistic risk management and remediation,” said Michelle Abraham, Senior Research Director, Security and Trust at IDC.

The report highlighted Tenable’s leadership in breaking down security silos, extending visibility across IT, cloud, OT/IoT, identity, and applications. It also praised Tenable’s AI-driven analytics and use of generative AI to support remediation guidance, attack path modeling, and ownership detection — all critical to accelerating incident response.

Recently, Tenable launched Tenable AI Exposure, a solution within Tenable One designed to manage risks introduced by generative AI. The company also enhanced its Vulnerability Priority Rating (VPR) with generative AI to sharpen precision in identifying threats that pose the greatest risk.

With approximately 44,000 customers worldwide, Tenable continues to advance exposure management, helping enterprises close cybersecurity gaps that erode trust, reputation, and business value.
