New version extends infrastructure visibility beyond the data center with geolocalization and advanced 3D planning tools
Swiss connectivity specialist R&M (Reichle & De-Massari) has released inteliPhy 6.0, the sixth generation of its infrastructure management software suite, designed to deliver unprecedented visibility and planning capabilities across distributed network environments.
“With inteliPhy 6.0, we’re empowering organizations to manage sprawling infrastructure with precision and insight—from colocation cages to underground fiber routes.”
— Rasha Hadi, Head of Marketing & Communications, R&M MEA & Türkiye
Unlike previous versions focused primarily on the internal infrastructure of individual data centers, inteliPhy 6.0 expands its scope with geoinformation system (GIS) integration, enabling geolocalization of assets using longitude, latitude, and elevation data. This allows operators to visualize and manage external sites, such as fiber links between multiple data centers, underground cable runs, campus networks, and edge facilities.
The platform now also supports 3D planning of colocation cages, enabling detailed drag-and-drop configuration of racks, patch panels, cable ducts, iPDUs, and more. Part number-based component search, customizable space design, and seamless integration of R&M’s ActiPower iPDUs further enhance usability.
This release is a strategic leap in DCIM (data center infrastructure management), offering a unified interface for centralized and remote site planning, power distribution oversight, and operational transparency—all with minimal risk of error.ReplyForward
