New marketplace of Cyber Risk AI Agents brings autonomous remediation, real-time risk insights, and context-aware prioritization to the enterprise
In a significant leap toward autonomous cybersecurity, Qualys has launched the industry’s first Agentic AI-powered Risk Operations Center (ROC), redefining how organizations manage and reduce cyber risk. The company’s newly introduced Cyber Risk AI Agents are purpose-built to drive every stage of risk operations—from discovery to prioritization and remediation—without human bottlenecks.
Amid a growing wave of complex cyber threats and soaring exposure volumes, security teams are overwhelmed by fragmented data and slow manual processes. Qualys’ new AI-powered solution addresses this head-on with self-orchestrating AI agents that turn real-time data into actionable insights—tailored to business impact—and automatically remediate threats.
“We’re ushering in a new era where CISOs can augment their teams with intelligent AI agents that act autonomously to reduce cyber risk with speed and precision.”
— Sumedh Thakar, President & CEO, Qualys

At the heart of this innovation is the integration of Agentic AI into Qualys’ Enterprise TruRisk Management (ETM) platform, which already aggregates exposures to measure and manage cyber risk. Now, with embedded AI agents, ETM enables intelligent decision-making at scale, helping organizations lower mean time to remediation (MTTR) and improve operational efficiency.
“Agentic AI represents a fundamental shift—from reactive patching to predictive, risk-based autonomy,” said Tyler Shields, Principal Analyst at Enterprise Strategy Group (ESG). “It transforms security teams into strategic AI orchestrators.”
Key capabilities of the Agentic AI fabric:
- Real-Time Risk Prioritization: AI agents continuously analyze attack surfaces, assess exposures against trending threats, and prioritize based on business context.
- Adaptive Remediation: Agents like the “Microsoft Patch Tuesday Lifecycle Agent” automate the full remediation lifecycle, reducing costs and time to closure.
- No-Code Agent Creation: Security teams can build custom AI agents tailored to specific environments and reuse them for repeatable, scalable operations.
- Cyber Risk Assistant: A prompt-driven interface that translates millions of data points into risk insights, enhancing decision-making.
With this launch, Qualys empowers enterprises to move from human-scale cybersecurity to autonomous, risk-centric automation—improving posture, slashing costs, and increasing resilience.
