New identity reflects expanded mission from storage innovation to end‑to‑end data management leadership for the AI era
Pure Storage has officially rebranded as Everpure, marking a major strategic shift from its roots in enterprise storage to its broader ambition of redefining modern data management. Alongside the new identity, the company announced its intent to acquire 1touch, a data intelligence and orchestration innovator, strengthening its capabilities in delivering secure, contextual, AI‑ready data environments.
Announcing the transformation, CEO Charles Giancarlo said the new name reflects how the company has evolved beyond storage toward enabling data-driven enterprises.
“Everpure reflects the company we have become as we help enterprises unleash the full power of their data. With 1touch, we are helping organizations not only take control of their data but enhance and contextualize it for actionable intelligence.”
“We are taking the next step in helping organizations unleash the full intelligence of their data.”

Building the Data Foundation for the AI Era
Everpure’s shift comes at a pivotal moment. As enterprises scale AI across operations, traditional architectures fragmented by silos, manual processes and rigid infrastructure struggle to meet demands for speed, automation and continuous intelligence.
The company’s Enterprise Data Cloud (EDC) architecture, powered by the Everpure Platform (formerly Pure Storage Platform), creates a globally managed, policy‑driven data layer that unifies storage, movement, protection and automation. It turns data infrastructure into a virtualized cloud governed by a centralized control plane, simplifying operations while boosting performance and resilience.
Strengthening Insight and Context Through 1touch
The planned acquisition of 1touch will add deep data discovery, classification and semantic context capabilities extending Everpure’s mission to make enterprise data inherently AI‑ready at the source. By integrating 1touch’s ability to map and enrich data across SaaS, on‑prem and edge environments, Everpure aims to help organizations turn raw datasets into actionable intelligence faster and more securely.
1touch CEO Ashish Gupta said:
“Data is the lifeblood of the AI era, but without the right context, it remains underutilized. Together with Everpure, we can deliver the intelligence enterprises need to move AI from pilot to production at unprecedented speed.”
Everpure will begin trading under its new name on the NYSE on March 5, 2026, retaining its ticker symbol PSTG. The 1touch acquisition is expected to close in Q2 FY27, subject to standard approvals.
