Pure Storage and Cisco Build the AI Factory of the Future with NVIDIA

Pure Storage

A new unified platform aims to accelerate enterprise AI from pilot to production by uniting compute, storage, and networking.

As enterprises race to operationalize artificial intelligence, Pure Storage and Cisco have joined forces with NVIDIA to deliver a breakthrough solution — the FlashStack Cisco Validated Design (CVD), a cornerstone module within the Cisco Secure AI Factory. This unified, production-grade platform is designed to take generative AI initiatives beyond proof-of-concept and into full-scale deployment.

For many organizations, AI success has been hindered not by a lack of computing power but by fragmented data ecosystems. While GPUs often take center stage, reliable data infrastructure remains the unsung hero behind scalable AI. The new FlashStack CVD directly addresses this gap, orchestrating data, compute, and networking layers into a cohesive foundation optimized for enterprise AI workloads.

“Our collaboration with Cisco and NVIDIA removes data barriers, giving enterprises the performance and simplicity they need to operationalize AI.”

Maciej Kranz, GM, Enterprise, Pure Storage

“AI success isn’t just about training models — it’s about ensuring the data is ready and accessible,” said Jeremy Foster, SVP & GM, Cisco Compute. “This validated design simplifies complexity, reduces risk, and accelerates insight generation.”

Built on Pure Storage’s high-performance FlashBlade//S™ platform and powered by Cisco UCS C845a servers with NVIDIA GPUs, the FlashStack architecture combines energy-efficient storage, GPU-accelerated compute, and NVIDIA AI Enterprise software. Together, these components enable enterprises to manage unstructured and structured data at scale, support RAG and agentic AI use cases, and maintain operational efficiency across Kubernetes-based environments.

The result is a blueprint for an enterprise AI factory — one that simplifies deployment, enhances performance, and empowers IT teams to focus on innovation instead of integration.

With general availability expected in early 2026, the Pure Storage–Cisco–NVIDIA collaboration marks a pivotal moment in the industrialization of AI, where reliable data pipelines finally meet scalable compute power to turn raw data into real business outcomes.
