The advanced Microsoft Teams Rooms deployment transforms collaboration, connectivity, and communication across Bayer’s hybrid work environment.

In a significant step toward modernizing workplace collaboration, Omnix International, a leading provider of digital transformation and technology solutions, has successfully implemented Smart Workspace Collaboration Meeting Rooms powered by Microsoft Teams Rooms (MTR) for Bayer Saudi Arabia, the global life sciences leader.

The initiative underscores Bayer’s commitment to driving digital innovation and employee empowerment, enabling seamless hybrid collaboration through intuitive, AI-enhanced meeting experiences.

“Our aim was to elevate efficiency and flexibility across our meeting rooms,” said Hassen Al Safi, Cluster IT, MENAT at Bayer Saudi Arabia. “The AI-powered technology supports our communication goals and transforms our Town Hall meetings into seamless, connected experiences.”

Working under the GPA global framework for professional AV integration, Omnix collaborated strategically with Fourte Germany (formerly GEMS Germany) to design and deploy fully integrated collaboration environments across small, medium, and large meeting rooms — including a high-capacity Town Hall space.

The system leverages AI-enabled camera systems for auto-framing, speaker tracking, and intelligent room layout adaptation. Ceiling-mounted microphones, one-touch meeting consoles, and interactive room booking panels further enhance usability and engagement.

“As the workplace continues to evolve, organizations must embrace technologies that support hybrid collaboration,” said Walid Gomaa, CEO of Omnix International. “We are proud to contribute to Bayer Saudi Arabia’s digital transformation journey by deploying Microsoft Teams Rooms that streamline operations and foster meaningful engagement.”

The Town Hall solution features real optical zoom, onboard visual AI for group framing, and scalable automated switching — ensuring clarity and control in high-attendance events.

According to Rami Sawalha, Cluster IT MENAT and Project Manager at Bayer, the collaboration experience was highly positive: “The teams demonstrated exceptional professionalism, adaptability, and commitment throughout the project. We are already seeing tangible productivity gains.”

This milestone project sets a benchmark for enterprises in the Middle East aiming to build intelligent, flexible, and user-centric hybrid work environments — a vision that Omnix continues to champion.
