- “HOT Systems is more than hardware—it’s a performance revolution.”
Gitex Global 2025 has once again emerged as the ultimate technology showcase, bringing together innovators, industry leaders, and visionaries from across the globe. This year, the spotlight is firmly on Artificial Intelligence (AI)—a technology that is reshaping workflows, redefining business models, and accelerating digital transformation across sectors. Among the key players at this prestigious event is Omnix International, a name synonymous with innovation and integration in the Middle East for over three decades. We sat down with Joseph John, Regional Manager – HOT Systems, Omnix International, to discuss the company’s AI-driven roadmap, its strategic partnerships, and how it is enabling industries to embrace the future.
How do you see Gitex Global 2025 compared to previous years?
Gitex has evolved tremendously. This year, it’s bigger and more impactful than ever before. Being part of this prestigious event is mind-blowing. The focus on AI is evident everywhere—it’s the buzzword for the entire world. At Gitex, Omnix is showcasing our AI-powered workstations, laptops, and servers under our HOT Systems brand. HOT—Hardware Optimization Technology—is engineered by Omnix International and represents decades of expertise in system integration. This is our innovation baby, and we’re proud to present it here. Our goal is to give customers a clear insight into where this technology is headed and how it will shape the next 5 to 10 years.
“AI isn’t just a trend; it’s the backbone of tomorrow’s workflows.”
— Joseph John, Regional Manager – HOT Systems, Omnix International
Omnix has partnered with PNY to deliver purpose-built hardware that accelerates digital transformation. How critical is this collaboration?
PNY has been our partner from the very beginning of our HOT Systems journey. They provide cutting-edge graphic card technology based on the NVIDIA platform, which is integral to our solutions. This partnership enables us to deliver high-performance workstations, laptops, and servers optimized for AI applications and high-efficiency computing. Omnix has a strong presence across the Middle East—UAE, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Kuwait, Qatar, and India—and we’re expanding into Singapore, Indonesia, and Malaysia. PNY is the backbone of our technology, and together we’re driving AI adoption across industries. Their components allow us to build purpose-built systems that meet the demands of modern workflows, from simulation to modeling and beyond.
AI is transforming design workflows. How is Omnix helping AEC firms integrate intelligence, simulation, and modeling into their operations?
AEC has been at the core of Omnix for 35 years. We’ve witnessed its evolution and played a key role in shaping its technology landscape. Today, AEC is one of the largest industries in the Middle East, and technology is driving its transformation. HOT Systems is designed to enhance performance for CAD, BIM, and point cloud workflows—applications that rely on high-density datasets. Traditional hardware often struggles with these demands, so we developed hardware optimization technology that boosts performance by 33–35%. Now, we’re embedding AI-based performance frameworks into HOT Systems, enabling smarter, faster workflows. This integration ensures that AEC firms can handle complex simulations and modeling with ease, paving the way for AI-dominant workflows.
The GCC region has ambitious digital transformation goals. How does Omnix align its solutions with these mandates?
Omnix works closely with government entities and large enterprises to deliver AI-based smart infrastructure solutions. We understand the regulatory frameworks and sustainability initiatives shaping the region. Compliance is critical, and we embed these requirements into our product development process. By collaborating with authorities, we ensure our solutions meet government standards while supporting sustainability goals. This approach positions Omnix as a trusted partner for digital transformation across the Middle East.
Customers increasingly want a single partner for end-to-end solutions. Is Omnix moving beyond hardware into services and consulting?
Absolutely. Omnix is no longer just a product company—we’re a complete digital transformation partner. We offer managed services, cloud integration, AI consulting, and training alongside our hardware solutions. Our evolution from a traditional trading company to an innovation-driven organization is evident in our R&D and innovation centers. We focus on reducing operational complexity and delivering measurable business outcomes. When clients choose Omnix, they get a one-stop solution for products, services, and consulting. This holistic approach ensures we stay ahead of technology trends and continue to deliver value.
