NTT DATA Expands Global Insurance Footprint with Acquisition of Alchemy Technology Services

Deal strengthens NTT DATA’s leadership in insurance modernization, deepens presence in UK and Ireland

Global digital services leader NTT DATA has announced the acquisition of Alchemy Technology Services, a Northern Ireland–based specialist in insurance technology consulting, reinforcing its ambition to lead the digital transformation of the global insurance sector.

The acquisition brings together NTT DATA’s scale and Alchemy’s strong consulting and Guidewire expertise, particularly within the London Market, the world’s largest reinsurance subscription market. This strategic move aims to address the sector’s growing needs for agility, modernization, and scalability as insurance IT spending is projected to exceed $230 billion this year.
