New sensor delivers real-time packet-level insights to decode performance issues across cloud-native environments

NETSCOUT has announced a major observability breakthrough with the launch of Omnis KlearSight Sensor for Kubernetes, designed to eliminate blind spots in multi-cluster cloud environments. Built for dynamic, encrypted architectures, KlearSight captures decrypted Kubernetes packets directly from the Linux kernel, transforming them into actionable insights without needing encryption keys.

“Microservices generate floods of telemetry, but the ultimate source of truth lies in packets,” said Jim Frey, Principal Analyst at Omdia. “KlearSight brings that truth to Kubernetes.”

Using extended Berkeley Packet Filter (eBPF) technology, KlearSight delivers low-overhead access to granular system and application data, helping teams move beyond surface-level monitoring to understand the root causes of anomalies and performance issues. The solution enables real-time visibility into system health, cost drivers, and application-layer communications—critical for troubleshooting and optimizing cloud-native infrastructure.

NETSCOUT has been delivering innovative observability and visibility solutions that address end-through-end performance challenges for decades,” said Phil Gray, AVP of Product Management at NETSCOUT. “Our solutions are mission-critical to large enterprises across all industries, especially as AI and cloud complexity continue to accelerate.”

KlearSight complements NETSCOUT’s broader portfolio, including its award-winning nGenius Edge Sensors, and reinforces its leadership in network observability. As organizations scale AI and cloud deployments, NETSCOUT’s latest innovation ensures they can do so with confidence, clarity, and control.
